Bob Walton

As a writer, Bob Walton along with his brother, Jim Walton, have written My Brother’s Keeper (1997 Bistro Award, Best New Musical), Mid-Life! (The Crisis Musical), and Double Trouble (A Musical Tour De Farce). Bob is also co-author of the Off-Broadway play Game Show.

As an actor, he has appeared in numerous Broadway, Off-Broadway, touring and regional productions, including: City Of Angels, Showboat, The Ziegfeld Follies of 1936 (Encores!, with Jim) Once Upon a Mattress, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, 42nd Street, The Drowsy Chaperone, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Crazy for You, Hairspray, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, A Servant to Two Masters and others. Television credits include Elementary, The Good Wife, Person of Interest, The Americans, Nurse Jackie, Law and Order: SVU and Hope and Faith.

Bob and his wife Laurie are trying to bring back vaudeville in their home. Laurie is head of performing arts at the Riverdale Y in the Bronx and is director of the national award-winning teen theatre program The Riverdale Rising Stars in the Bronx. They have two very talented actor children: Emily and Alexander.
