Sandra B. Eskin

Sandra has been part of Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC) for more than 35 years as a patron, Board member, and playwright. Her first ATMTC production was Molly’s Pilgrim (2004), adapted from the beloved children’s book. Since then, she has collaborated with Michael J. Bobbitt on stage adaptations of popular works, including Chris Van Allsburg’s Just a Dream (toured DC-area schools and Singapore) and Jumanji, which won the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Production for Young Audiences. More recently, the duo adapted Blueberries for Sal and Make Way for Ducklings with music and lyrics by William Yanesh. Beyond ATMTC, Sandra’s plays have been featured at the Source Theatre Festival and the Jewish Historical Society of Greater Washington. A Brown University graduate with degrees in Semiotics and Classics, she is also a UC Law–San Francisco alum and currently serves as CEO of Stop Foodborne Illness, a nonprofit consumer advocacy group.
