GREASE: School Edition has been adapted from the original Broadway production. All references to cigarettes, alcohol, and profanity have been removed, and the songs have been shortened and edited for content. Several plot elements are also cut, including Rizzo’s pregnancy subplot and her song “There Are Worse Things I Could Do,” as well as the beginning of the pajama party in Marty’s bedroom. GREASE: School Edition is considered to be G-rated.
Standard licences issued by TRW for the musical GREASE: School Edition do not include the additional songs written for the film (The “Movie Song Pack”). Should you wish to include these four (4) film songs, “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “You’re the One That I Want,” “Grease,” and “Sandy,” in your performance, you can purchase the Movie Song Pack listed on your TRW License Agreement in the optional extra resource section.
