Synopsis

E.B. White’s classic novel is now an exhilarating symphonic concert experience for young people and their families, adapted by Marsha Norman with music by Jason Robert Brown. The Trumpet of the Swan, like all of White’s novels, concerns a youngster who must overcome a problem. In Louis’s case, he is a trumpeter swan born without a voice.  On an epic journey of challenge and discovery, Louis finds the gift of music through his father’s heartbreaking and heroic love.
